In this sequel of sorts to his wonderful Freak, John Leguizamo gets his freak on, recalling his sexcapades and relationships with women from childhood to his own recent parenthood. Leguizamo never moves across the stage in the same way twice; he could do the show with laryngitis and still be a riveting stage presence.
Sexaholix is a bit less "special" than Freak, especially when it turns several borscht-belt era jokes into dialogue supposedly spoken by real people, or when dwelling on rather familiar sexual and new-fatherhood situations. But Leguizamo's dad remains an inexhaustible source of comedy and consternation, while his stroke-ridden grandpa may be his most hilarious creation to date.
